Windows reserves some
bandwidth for the programs running in the system. The following procedure lets
you unreserve the bandwidth and use it.
- Goto run(windows+r)
- Type gpedit.msc
- In Local Group Policy Editor, goto Computer Configuration ->Administrative Templates ->Network ->Qos Packet Scheduler
- Double click on Limit reservable bandwidth in setting column
- Now among Not configured, Enabled and Disabled options,
choose Enabled option
- The system reserved bandwidth appears in the options in
the field named Bandwidth limit (%):
- Edit the value by clicking on it and set it to zero.
- Click Apply and then OK
