Event Viewer is a tool
that keeps a log of errors and helps troubleshooting errors with windows and
other programs. If the computer restarted unexpectedly or shutdown, the event
viewer records the error log
To open the Event
Viewer, click the start button, then select control panel and select system and
security. Click Administrative Tools and then click view event logs.
Another method of
opening the Event Viewer is right click on the my computer and select manage
Choose
Event Viewer in the System Tools under Computer Management.
Under
Summary of Administrative Events, expand Critical in the Event Type to view
critical errors. Expand the Error and Warning Event Types to view general
errors and warnings.
