Now-a-days the ultra-thin notebooks comes with no DVD drives which makes it impossible to install a fresh copy of Operating System from discs. However, Windows OS can be installed from USB Flash Drives. Lets see how to install OS with the help of a software called WinToFlash and an installation disc of Windows.
The following is a link to the website from where you can download WinToFlash.

Go to the download page of the WinToFlash site, download the software in lite version or any other version.
  • Install the software
  • Click on the green check mark which says Windows Setup Transfer Wizard(you can also create multiboot from a Single USB Drive)
  • Check "Always Start in Wizard mode" and click next.
  • Now select the source from which you want to copy installation files to your USB(whether from an installation disc or a downloaded setup from internet) and proceed to next step.
  • Now choose the path of installation source in windows files path field and choose the path of usb drive and proceed to next.(Turn off antivirus during the process of copying files to the usb drive)
  • After the files are copied to the usb drive, the usb drive is ready to install windows.
